  • 1.5 oz American Whiskey

  • 0.75 oz hibiscus liqueur

  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 0.5 oz simple syrup

  • 7-10 fresh blackberries

Blackberry Hibiscus Bramble


Bold bourbon perfectly blends with the earthy sweetness of blackberries, hibiscus liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup. Let the sun shine in.


Bramble. It’s a word you kinda know, but rarely use. By definition, a blackberry bush is a bramble and a bramble cocktail is, by definition, delicious. Story goes that sometime in the awesome 80s famed bartender Dick Bradsell of Fred’s Club in London wanted to create a “British cocktail.” He tapped into childhood memories of going blackberrying on the Isle of Wight, muddled them up with gin, lemon juice and creme de mure. With all respect to Dick, we prefer ours with bourbon and hibiscus liqueur.


  1. POUR bourbon, lemon juice, hibiscus liqueur, simple syrup, and fresh blackberries into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice

  2. SHAKE vigorously 15-20 seconds

  3. STRAIN into a rocks glass

  4. ADD ice to top

  5. GARNISH with 3 black berries
