ABOUT

Will the Real Mai Tai please stand up? The sweet, nutty combination of rums, orange curacao, orgeat syrup and fresh lime juice has had many imposters over years, but there’s only one Real Mai Tai. For reals.

DETAILS

You know your cocktail is gangsta if it single handedly depleted rum supplies in the 1940s and 1950s. That’s what the streets say, anyway. The original Mai Tai was invented by Victor J. Bergeron at his restaurant Trader Vic’s in Oakland, CA. And before you dismiss this as the syrupy sweet nonsense one finds in a plastic red cup, have faith (we have nothing against red cups btw). Our nuanced classic comes out clean, guns blazin’ with a dark rum floater and garnished with a mint crown. You're welcome.
