HEMINGWAY DAIQUIRI

ABOUT

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk... Mr. Hemingway, we agree and we thank you for inspiring this cool sip of white rum shaken with sweet maraschino liqueur - plus fresh lime and grapefruit juices.

DETAILS

So the ol’ story goes, in the 1930s Hemingway popped into El Floridita in Havana to use the restroom and heard people raving about the daiquiris. Bartender Constantino Ribalaigua Vert offered him a sip and Hemingway replied along the lines of, “That’s good…but drop the sugar and double the rum!” Known to make more than bearded writers wax poetic, this classic drink will most certainly inspire a few good verses of your own if you aren’t careful. Sorry, not sorry.
